We’re celebrating Space Week over on Play & Learn Every Day and the kids are absolutely loving all of the intergalactic fun!
My little boy has just started school so this Space Mixed Name Label Pack could not have come at a better time, and now all of his clothes can be identified by the iron on labels from Stickerscape as well as his water bottle and other items with the sticker labels. Now we won’t mix up his school jumpers or his space suit with anyone else’s.
We’ve done some really fun space activities in the past and we’ll be spending this week doing even more space themed crafts and games. Here’s a few of our favourites:
- play dough constellations
- cardboard box rocket ship
- rocket ship craft
- glowing rocket fireworks
- star stained glass craft
- star reflections
- Star Wars crafts
- space sensory bin
We’ve also got this gorgeous Pink Flying Rocket Wall Sticker
from Stickerscape that we’ve put up in my little girls’ room. I decided to put it low on the wall so that the kids could actually play with it. We’ve already played a little counting game with some numbers stuck alongside the rocket to work on our counting skills (forwards and backwards!) Blast off!
