The Ultimate Teacher Gift Guide 2018

It’s getting to that stage of the term when you’re on the look out for teacher gift ideas. When it comes to getting your child’s teacher a present to mark the end of the school year, it’s always really tricky to know what to get to show your appreciation. More often than not, you may not know the teacher (and their interests outside of school) particularly well yourself – and it can be pretty hard extracting information from your children about what the teacher might like or be into! So more often than not, what can start as a wonderful intention to buy something thoughtful and unusual often ends up with a generic supermarket gift bought last-minute in panic. And let’s face it, teachers probably love wine, chocs and gift vouchers – but sometimes it’s nice to try and do something a little bit more personal, especially if you’ve had a lovely teacher who’s really made a difference to your child that year.

At Stickerscape we have a whole range of gifts for teachers designed to tick all the boxes – personal (but not too personal!), thoughtful, practical and affordable. We’ve rounded up our favourites in this blog to hopefully give you more than enough teacher gift ideas for 2018! (Also, another really great thing about teachers is that the kids tend to get a new one each year – so once you’ve nailed the present idea, you can totally roll it out year after year without even having to think up a new gift – brilliant!).

Stickerscape’s Top 6 teacher gift ideas

1. Personalised canvas book bag

Our personalised canvas book bag is one of our bestselling teacher gifts – it’s perfect for any age range, thoughtful with the personalisation, but also super-practical and useful for teachers who all have to take home marking and lesson planning. Available in a range of colours, you really can’t go wrong with this option!

2. Personalised jute lunch bag

Another top seller, this personalised jute lunch bag is great for both male and female teachers, and is again available in a range of colours. You can gift it just as it is, or you could fill it up with some foodie goodies (one of our favourites is a mini cream tea kit, with a couple of scones, clotted cream and jam – yum!)

3. Wine bottle bag

So you know that wine would probably be a winner with teacher, but you don’t want it to be a boring gift? Answer – give them the wine in a personalised wine bottle bag! Thoughtful and practical – win win 🙂 Also great for the really hard-to-buy-for teachers who must have already accumulated a million ‘best teacher ever’ mugs, scented candles and hand lotion sets…

4. Essential teacher stuff bag

One of our favourites because it’s bound to get a giggle, this bag is available in either a sturdy canvas or a tote, and is quite literally the perfect teacher gift – especially when filled with a box of biscuits!

5. Personalised notebook

A lovely, thoughtful teacher gift that won’t break the bank, these personalised notebooks are bound to be admired in the staff room! A great one for the all-important Teaching Assistants as well as the teacher themselves, they are particularly nice to give out as a ‘set’ where all the teaching staff in the class has one each. This item is another bestseller for male teachers. If your child is feeling amenable, you could even get them to write a personalised ‘thank you’ message or draw a picture on the first page! Our ‘Teach Love Inspire’ notebook design is also really popular (and a great option too if you’re not sure on the name or spelling of a teacher or assistant!)

6. Personalised pencil case

Their teacher will be chuffed to bits with a personalised pencil case – so useful and a little bit different! Made from very high quality cotton with a metal zip, these pencil cases also team really well with a personalised notebook for an extra special present.

We hope the above have given you a few teacher gift ideas before the end of term. You can find our whole range of teacher gifts by clicking here, where you’ll find all of these gifts and many more! Happy shopping!
