Are your little ones mad about The Gruffalo? I know our two children went about 3 months where they would want The Gruffalo read for every bedtime story! And then The Gruffalo’s Child came along and they absolutely loved that as well and became another firm favourite. The stories are great fun and wonderfully written by Julia Donaldson.

If your children are anything like this then you might consider creating a Gruffalo themed bedroom, playroom, or even a little reading corner. Our team has therefore had a think and come up with our top tips on creating a Gruffalo themed bedroom if your children are Gruffalo obsessed!

Gruffalo Themed Nursery Ideas | Mood Board

To start this room off, we have picked our Gruffalo Room Makeover wall sticker pack. This is perfect to create an immersive Gruffalo themed room. The base pack contains the characters from the Gruffalo with a tree and accessories. There is then the option to add-on to this pack with additional habitat elements and a text quote from the book.

When designing this room idea, we wanted to go with a green and natural feel, focussing on some additional woodland themed decor pieces. The green cot would make the perfect statement piece with some Gruffalo cot bedding. We then followed the green colour through the room with a rug.

We loved these little golden leaf fairy lights, and to bring in more of the natural colours, we picked out a wooden bunny shaped mirror and wooden woodland animal doorknobs to personalise a dresser.

We have a few Gruffalo roller blinds to pick from, but one of our favourites is the mouse design as the soft blue works really well with the green shade we picked out. Add our little peek-a-boo Gruffalo window sticker and you can make a statement of the window too.

If you are only looking to decorate a reading corner or smaller wall area, you could opt for our personalised Gruffalo wall sticker. See the full collection of Gruffalo wall stickers here.

We hope this mood board provides you with some inspiration for your own nursery. If you’ve been inspired with your own nursery, we would love to see how you’ve decorated your room with this theme! Tag us on Instagram @stickerscape with your rooms to be featured on our stories and blogs.
