Privacy Policy

Stickerscape Limited (‘Stickerscape’, ‘we’ or ‘us’) takes your privacy seriously. Please read this Privacy policy and our Cookies policy. Together they explain our data protection policy and describe how we’ll use any personal data we collect from you or that is provided to us.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, Stickerscape Limited is the (data) controller for the processing of personal information we hold about you.

Change to Data protection law

In May 2018 regulations governing the use of your personal information have changed. You can read about the changes on the ICO’s website. Stickerscape has updated this policy to reflect these regulations, and has prepared privacy information notices so that you can find out how we use your personal information.

Our privacy information notices are listed below under titles which relate specifically to who the information applies to.

Stickerscape customers

When you place an order with Stickerscape (either via www.stickerscape.co.uk or via a third-party sales platform such as Amazon, eBay etc.) we require certain personal data in order to process your order and meet our contractual obligations with you i.e. to deliver the goods you have paid for.

In processing your order, we collect the following personal data from you:

  • Name
  • Billing address
  • Shipping address
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Details of order (including personalisation details where applicable)

This information is used solely to process your order. It is used within our internal order management tool (which is GDPR compliant) in order for our production and dispatch team to identify what you have ordered and dispatch the item to you. All our production is completed in-house, so you can be assured that your information is not being passed to third party contractors.

This information is held by us for 4 years, in order to span a sufficient timescale where any customer service issues e.g. product questions, returns, re-orders may arise. Within this time frame you have the right to access, erase or restrict this personal data. Beyond this period the information is deleted from our system. For information on how to access, amend or delete your data, please click here.

The exception to the above is if additional consent has been provided. When collecting this information from you during checkout[1],  customers have the option to ‘opt-in’ to receive additional marketing information by ticking the ‘Send me promos and product updates’ checkbox. If this option is selected, personal data is held until consent is withdrawn i.e. until you opt-out of receiving such marketing updates.

Sign-up to receive marketing information

Consent to receive marketing updates can be provided when ordering or separately via our sign-up section on our website.

We appreciation that nobody enjoys pushy or relentless marketing, so we only ever send out occassional electronic information relating to new offers or discounts, or brand new products that we believe may be of interest to you.

The personal data we hold when you sign up to receive such marketing information is limited to:

  • Name
  • E-mail address

This information is held indefinitely until you withdraw your consent. As soon as you withdraw your consent (or ‘unsubscribe’) your personal data is automatically deleted from our systems. For information on how to access, amend or delete your data, please click here.
