The Christmas trees are up, mulled wine is on the stove, mince pies have been warmed and Christmas tunes are playing on the radio! The month of December sparkles in every way.
As the advent calendar numbers go up, it means 2015 is coming to a close – have you enjoyed our Advent Calendar give-away?…phew our elf Mr Sticky has worked his little tiny socks off sorting the gifts …24 days with such an incredible response, a gigantic Congratualtions to all of our winners and to the companies we worked with, Emma Vallis, Laura Wall, Fred & Noah, WOW Toys, Herbal Health & Home, thank you for sharing your amazing products. Is it sad to say we are looking forward and thinking ahead to 2016 Christmas (exciting #watchthisspace).
In 2015 we welcomed some shiny new sticker collections – Woodland Friends, Animal Alphabet, Chalkboards, Girly Space, Halloween and Christmas wall stickers have joined our website – with a fantastic warm response.
We decided to dive head first into the world of social media, cracking on with Facebook and Twitter and stepping into the delights of Instagram, a big ‘Hello’ to all our new followers. We welcome all your tweets, comments, likes, shares, pictures and general love over the airwaves, we really do believe it’s a fantastic way to connect with our customers and keep in touch with fellow businesses. Thank you specifically to PTA+, Laura Wall, Cositas Bonitas, Emma Vallis, WOW Toys, Pink Lining, Tappy, Abbey Media, In the Night Garden, Trunki, Fred and Noah, Mum of Boys, Childs Farm, Herbal Health & Home. To work together was a pleasure, Stickerscape just adore a collaboration, chatting over in social media land, the feedback has been tremendous. Mummyandbeasties featured as our first ever Guest Blogger, it’s exciting to join forces with such a talented writer and we are looking forward to working on future projects in 2016, the gorgeous Katy Holmes from Dubai featured as our Christmas Guest Blogger. 2016 will bring more new and exciting freebies, it’s worth checking in on our Facebook as there’s a few exciting competitions on the horizon, to give you a little taster we will be working with Big Fish Little Fish, Stanley & Maud, PTA+, Annabel Karmel and toucanBox in early 2016.
For us in Stickerscape HQ we have doubled our print capacity over 2015, expanded our premises, welcomed our talented apprentice Adam, and gained additional 3 new members of staff. Our work with high street retailers always keeps us busy, and we just love seeing the nurseries and bedrooms you create with our wall stickers! On a personal note, Mike married the love of his life over in Poland and returned armed with sweets for us all 🙂 We then united over a Mince Pie & Yule Log taste-off competition, which started back in October and has continued ever since (it’s a big decision, there are a lot to try!).
We’ve been super excited to be featured in some lovely magazines this year, including Mother & Baby, Gurgle, PTA+ and the Bounty baby product guide. Seeing our stickers in print always makes our day and a massive thank you to those who have featured us.
So what’s coming up in 2016? We’re planning some lovely new ranges (one of the first to be a long-awaited pirate collection!), plenty of giveaways, many dates to celebrate; Burns Day, Valentines, Easter, blogs and oodles of connecting with you – our loyal customers.
It’s great to read feedback, look at your before and after snaps, suggestions, work on bespoke orders, so do contact us, we appreciate the interaction.
